Cast Announced For New Woody Allen Film

Kristen Stewart will be in the next Woody Allen film, this is not a typo.  A title has yet to be announced for the production to start filming later this month in New York & Los Angeles.  Having filmed all over New York, leaving other filmmakers to realize his massive body of work when they consider a filming location and hear, “Oh yeah, you know Woody shot there”, this marks his return to the big apple.  

This also marks his return to Los Angeles.  The last time he filmed there was for scenes for his epic Annie Hall (1977), a film that comically “depicted” the city’s lack of culture and won an Oscar for it over the classic Star Wars.

No other details have been released yet.  But most likely expect to see Stewart in a relationship with one of the older men as in any typical Woody film.  She joins a cast of Jeannie Berlin, Jesse Eisenberg (who starred in the Allen bombed film To Rome With Love), Corey Stoll (apart of Woody’s critically acclaimed Midnight in Paris), Ken Stott, and Bruce Willis.  Anna Camp, Stephen Kunken, Sari Lennick, & Paul Schneider also co-star.  

Allen made a trip to the small screen at the beginning of the year penning a deal with Amazon, with a half hour television series that he writes and directs.
