The A-Team Is Getting a TV Reboot

The Original A-Team
The A-Team is making a return to television!

That’s right!  20th Century Fox is teaming with writer-producer Chris Morgan (Fast & Furious) for a modern-day take on the material.

Original A-Team creator Stephen J. Cannell’s daughter Tawnia McKiernan is attached to produce and Sleepy Hollow Executive producer Albert Kim will pen the script.  The new A-Team would be a set of American special-forces operatives but the new take would include both male and female members.  One can just see the feminist push for equality here behind the scenes.

The original A-Team series aired on NBC for five seasons from 1983-1987 and starred 4 ex-commando turned mercenaries: John “Hannibal” Smith (George Peppard), Templeton “Faceman” Peck (Dirk Benedict), “Howling Mad” Murdock (Dwight Schultz) and B.A. “Bad Attitude” Baracus (Mr. T).

Reboots already in the works for television are Behind Enemy Lines (Fox), Training Day (CBS), The Notebook, Friday the 13th (The CW), Rush Hour, Limitless (CBS), and Minority Report (Fox).

More to come …
