2017 MID-TERM REVIEW
Elizabeth Olsen & Aubrey Plaza, Ingrid Goes West (2017) |
With The Venice Film Festival kicking off tomorrow, it signifies the cinematic year being officially half over and that awards season has officially begun. I say that as someone stating an observable fact and no longer with enthusiasm, as the awards, especially the big kahuna, The Oscars, are a joke. It’s 93 degrees in Los Angeles today, and awards season has begun.
Here’s my take so far on the movies this year.
